Play for Time

I procrastinate waaaaaay too much! I really need to start  doing my homework earlier... AT LEAST a couple DAYS earlier!

Anyway... just thought I would give a quick update.

It's PROM season. You know what that means? Complete CHAOS at work! =P It's fun though I gotta admit... only thing that people need to remember is that we are doing a SERVICE, so please respect us, and tip if you are not going to buy anything. RUDE!

I am going to enter the Hugest Guru Makeup Contest on Youtube. I hope I hope I hope I hope I win! I've got some AWESOME ideas! =D

And last but not least... HAWAII IN LESS THAN 1 MONTH!!!!! Damn.. I still need to sell my laptop.. any takers? It's really really good and still in tip top shape!

Alright loves I must continue on my analysis paper. Wish me luck that I finish before the sun rises!

I finally figured it out!

I FINALLY know what I want in life!

I don't wanna say plan because nothing ever goes according to plan. Murphey's Law! ;P
In my guide to life, I am going to finish school and major in something that will allow me to work in the corporate world of makeup! Once I am finished with school, I am going to find a way to become a makeup artist for movies, television shows, runway models, photo shoots, and music videos! Look out world, here comes one badass chica! ;D

Holy Jellybeans!

Ahhhh!!! I still have to do my taxes!! I've been freakin' swamped with softball games up the ying-yang that I haven't had time to do ANYTHING! I hate softball. Sometimes. It's just that it gets in the way of EVERYTHING especially work! I really really wanna play next year, and maybe even play at a four year... but I just don't have time! I need to work! I just don't know what to do... I wanna talk to my counselor, but I don't even have time to do that! Whatever.. I'm tired... I'm gonna take a nap now.

I Still Can't Believe It!

I did it folks!
I still can't believe I actually did it!

I BOUGHT MY TICKET TO HAWAII YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You don't understand the extreme signs that have been popping up everywhere that I must go to this most sacred and gorgeous place. Everyday, without fail, some little or big sign will appear in reference to Hawaii. So I have decided, it is meant to be that I go, and that I have the greatest time of my entire life (up until this point anyway ;P)! So now, I have purchased a non-refundable ticket to one of the most beautiful places on earth... all I gotta say is... thank goodness for credit cards! =D

You have absolutely NO idea how truly excited I am about this vacation.
June 1st can not come any slower!
With all this excitement running through my veins, I am pretty much worn out.
I am now off to bed to recharge, and exert even more energy of electrified glee tomorrow.

I Love.

I'm not gonna lie... I'm desperate!

I know it's only 2 and a half months away.. but I can't stop thinking about it.

I have come across the opportunity of a life time to go to one of the most gorgeous places in the United States of America! Hawaii.
Where the water is warm, the people are friendly, and the fruit is freakin' amazing! Hawaii.
I have never been to the magical island.. but I have heard a lot of great stuff about.. I've seen many gorgeous pictures.. heard countless stories.. seen many movies and television shows set in the very island.. and now I have gotten the chance to go with really great friends of mine for two weeks in June!

I know.. I know.. I know...
I have no money..
I don't have enough time to save money to go..
It would be very unstable for me to go and not work because I need to make my car payments..

I have never been on vacation without family.. and I have never set foot in a place so nice! I honestly feel that if I don't go, I will regret it for the rest of my life. If I do happen to be lucky enough to go, it would be a time in my life that I would be able to tell my grandchildren about. Also, in times such as these.. with the economy being the way it is, I feel it will be worth it.. just in case things do get worse in life, I can always reflect on a time in which I was happy and care-free, and I will always know that life can be wonderful and amazing. If I go to Hawaii, I will truly be living life to the fullest, and I'm almost positive that it will help me realize what I really want to do with my life, and point me in the right direction. It will release a block in my life and help me realize what I need to do to get where I want to be. If I can some how find a way to get to Hawaii, I know I can find a way to get to where I want to be in life.

With that said... I have decided I am going to give up my most prized possession: My Macbook Pro. I have decided that I am going to sell it. In doing so, not only will I have enough to go to Hawaii, I will also have enough to catch up on my other bills, and maybe have a little left over to start anew and save for a new laptop! In the end.. I truly feel everything is going to work out for the best!

Until next time then...

My "first" post.

My name is Linda.
If you haven't noticed from my first post, I am 20 years old.
My favorite color is pink.
And I have no idea what to do with my life!

As far as explaining myself goes...
I made this blog initially because I wanted to enter an online makeup contest.
I didn't win, but I was indeed one of the top contenders.
So, instead of deleting this, I figured I might as well use this place to release some of my emotional stress that I have accumulated throughout life.
Granted I won't say everything on my mind, but I feel this will help with the angst and confusion in being a young adult.
I title my blog "What If?" because I like to think up "what if" moments about life, and how drastically different it can be had that situation really happened.
I also am calling this post my first post because in my actual first post about my birthday, I just really wanted to let out some things that were in my head, and also to have some sort of documentation as to how my first day of not being a teenager went.
I also tend to ramble about things that make no sense, but thats part of my charm ;)
Alright well... This is all it is going to be for now.
Until next time when I have something really interesting to say..
I hope you have a wonderful day!

I've been eating sugar all freakin' day!

Today is my 20th Birthday!

Oddly enough it is my grandmothers birthday as well.. I have never met this woman simply because she has been deceased since before I was born.. but from what my dad says, she was a wonderful and loving lady.

Today is my 20th Birthday!

I can't believe my dad is still alive! Ever since I was in middle school I always believed my dad would pass before I turned 18. Because he is alive to see me be 20, I feel I have just witnessed a miracle! It's kind of a weird feeling though.. to know that he won't make it to see me get married and walk me down the aisle.

Today is my 20th Birthday!

I have been partying like crazy since friday! But I don't mind though. I'm just glad I got to live out my teenage years with a bang!

Today is my 20th Birthday!

I chilled at home most of the day until it was time for practice. At practice, my softball team sang "Happy Birthday" to me and we ate cake. After practice I had to work, and my manager bought me a fat birthday cookie from Mrs. Fields. After work, my oldest brother took me out to eat with his super cute friend! And then my brother took me to Ben and Jerry's and bought me ice cream. Now I am home.

Today is my 20th Birthday.

I feel a little different than I did yesterday. I know now that life is approaching... and approaching very quickly.
